UCHC Equine Emergency Preparatory Class
Ulster County Horse Council is offering an Equine Emergency Prep Class on Friday April 10
Want to update your first aid kit and don’t know where to start?
Join us For a fun and informative evening of equine first aid! Topics include
- Top items and must haves for the emergency shelf in the barn.
- How to properly use certain products.
- How to wrap wounds, when to call a vet (does this need a stitch?) keep the wound dry or keep a ointment on it!?
- How to take a temp and pulse
Hang out with us at the lovely Ohioville Farm in New Paltz NY where we will have equine friends to practice on.
Free for active UCHC members.
Donation based for non members. All donations go towards scholarships and hosting future equine events.
